Supporting a friend, relative, or partner who has been a victim of rape, sexual assault, or sexual abuse can be incredibly difficult. Secondary survivors are welcome to join our community and seek support on the message board - your feelings and issues with respect to the survivor you care about are important. However, if the survivor you are supporting is also a member of Pandora's Aquarium, you'll need to seek permission from that person to join. You will be able to read and post in the "Healing Together" forum and all public forums, but not the other private forums which, due to the wishes of survivor members, are open to survivors only. When you join, please take time to read the guidelines in the Healing Together forum.

One supporter says this of the help he found at our message board: Pandy's has been helpful to me in a number of ways. It has been helpful to share struggles and confusions with other secondaries. A few survivors have put forth questions to secondaries and I've gained some valuable perspectives from forum discussions with them.

To all those who who are supporting a wife or husband, sister or brother, boyfriend or girlfriend, or friend who has been raped or sexually abused, thank you for being there for the special survivor in your life.
